Ride Details

“HOEDOWN” - Frame and Suspension were all built by Overkill Customs and consists of a powder coated 3/4 Body Dropped Custom Chassis, Custom upper/lower control arms on Belltech 2.5” drop spindles, Custom Underslung Triangulated 3-Link in the rear supported by dual bellow Airlift Bags and Belltech Nitro Drop Shocks. The Air Management consists of Accuair eLevel/iLevel, Accuair Vu4 Manifold, Accuair R10 ECU, Accuair Endo-T 5gal Tank, Viar 444 dual Compressors and a DVS Digital Gauge package. The Drivetrain retains the majority of its stock features including a flat black 5.7L Vortec Engine & 4L60E automatic transmission. A 20” Electric Fan was installed and also utilizes custom Dutchmen axles which were narrowed 5” overall. To help the factory power plant breathe the exhaust consists of Flowtech Shorty Headers, True Dual 2.5” Mandrel Bent Stainless Steel Exhaust Tubing into (2) Pypes M80 mufflers and finally exiting through a pair of stainless steel 2.5” turn downs. The paint scheme chosen for the Tahoe was a two tone Chrysler Metallic Graphite on the bottom and a sleek Onyx Black on the top. The factory radio antenna was shaved, a Vivid Blue pinstripe was applied to tastefully separate the two tone body line and a weld in roll pan was the choice for the rear bumper. In addition, the LED taillights & front side marker lights were smoked and wet sanded. All six windows were tinted to keep the general public guessing (45% on the windshield, 20% on the front sides & 5% on the rear). The wheels and tires that keep the hoe moving are a staggered 20/22 US Mag (Rambler) set up. Lexani LX-Seven supplies the rubber to the pavement which consists of 255/35R20 in the front and 305/30R22 in the rear. The interior from the rear bench seat forward retains its factory grey leather upholstery.
